FREE FESTIVE FESTIVAL MIX DOWNLOAD

So I was supposed to be DJ’ing at Nick Grimshaw’s Festive Festival tonight at BBC Maida Vale studios live on Radio 1 alongside Toddla T & Kissy Sell Out but then this happened…

I live 70 miles outside of the big smoke and was pretty much completely snowed out of London. So I spent 3 hours putting together a mix for them to use on the show only for it to be delivered “too late”… Oh well! So it wasn’t a total waste of my time, I’m gonna give it to you for free right here. Tracklisting after the jump. Merry Christmas.

SCORZAYZEE’S FREESTYLE FRENZY

Previously on the blog… Now, I may be bias because I’ve known him since I was 14 and he was then going by the name of S aka Sense but damn if he doesn’t GO IN ON THESE FREESTYLES!!

If you love HipHop and you don’t love this, you don’t really love HipHop. Simples.

The verses over Nas’ “One Love” is like a warm up for the bars he spat over Jay-Z’s “Threats” beat! And the bars on “Threats” were written in the car on the way to 1Xtra hence the paper in his hand while he spat the lyrics. Jheez!

I can’t remember ever hearing a more honest British HipHop record – Scorz really bares his soul on this and breaks down the story of why he disappeared from the game 5 years ago. He passed through my show last night and blessed us with a live performance of Luv Me and also an amazing freestyle (video coming soon).
