SPEECHLESS

A few weeks ago, I gave Breakage ft Donae’o’s single “Speechless” it’s first radio spin on my saturday night show. The record itself is one of my favourites at the moment – pure deep sincerity in lyrics, Donae’o’s vocal performance and sheer unashamed epicness of the beat that Breakage has cooked up. Now, there’s an official video and it pretty much does what it says on the tin, it will leave you speechless…

The bar has been set…Not too sure what Maxi Jazz has got against Donae’o though

PROFESSOR GREEN – I NEED YOU TONIGHT VIDEO

Here’s the brand new video for the debut major label single from one of our scene’s major lyrical talents – Professor Green. I remember him playing me the demo version of this record about a year ago and me saying he’d never clear that INXS sample… Fast forward a year later and it’s his lead single from his forthcoming album ‘Alive Til I’m Dead’ – the power of persistence & doing something constructive with a sample eh?!

I’m hoping for big things for this record. It’s accessible but lyrical. Familiar but credible. Well produced It deserves to ‘Pass Out’ if you get my drift. As someone who’s supported Green since day one (a good long time ago – he’s more than paid his dues 3 times over), it’s also really good to see him doing something on a big scale with decent backing. He’s come a long way since the days when I had to get him in a headlock for swearing live on radio at UK Takeover 4:

6 minutes of straight FIRE spitting! Plus the film he’s in ‘Shank’ is released nationally on 23rd March (film promo company, holla at us, we need to see that preview!) and the new single ‘When The Sky Falls’ is out on 15th March; Bish Bash Bosh is bringing the fire to the people right now! Big ups to Bashy, CJ, Des, George & the GGi team – can we get a Bish Bash Bosh range of gas masks?

DOCTOR – TEK YOUR TIME (VIRAL VIDEO)

Doctor’s new single “Tek Your Time” has got a new viral video to reinforce it’s positive message. The former Jam Hot produced by Chase & Status is gathering momentum at the moment and quite rightly as it’s a bonafide BIG tune with a very positive message. Check out the video:

The Boy Better Know CEO is back on his grind & seems to have hit on a new promotional concept. The video has just hit YouTube on the same day he has given the track to all the key DJ’s and the track is available for you to download almost exactly one month after it’s promo release. The track in question is a big one – called “Sidetracked” featuring Wiley.
